SCISSOR & BOOM LIFT (UNDER 11 MT REACH): EWPA YELLOW CARD

Loadwise Australia is now proud to offer competency training if you require boom lift training or scissor lift training under 11 mts and over 11mts reach.

Occupational Health and Safety general Duty of care states, amongst other requirements, that an operator must have training in the safe use of plant and equipment. This means that all operators of EWPS require evidence that they have been satisfactory trained and are competent in the safe use of various types of EWPS.

Loadwise Australia is accredited with the EWPA (Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia Inc.) to deliver a formally structured training course by an EWPA accredited assessor.  

Upon successful completion of the course the EWPA Operator Ticket (Yellow Card) is issued to operators who have been successfully trained in the use of various types of EWP’s that do not require a WorkSafe Licence.

Note: Regulations made under the Occupational  Health and safety Acts in each state require that a person operating a Boom type Elevating  Work Platform with a reach of 11mts or more, must have a High Risk licence class WP in addition to ‘duty of care’ training.

Course Summary:

The Yellow card confirms that the holder of the ticket has been trained in the safe use of the work platform as noted on the ticket.
